「日本人って本当に働きすぎだよね」
海外の友人からそう言われたとき、そうかもしれないと思った。
確かに、休むのさえも空気を読んでしまったり、人目を気にせず自由にゴロゴロできている人は案外少ないのかもしれない。
そこで、今回の展示では「ゴロゴロ」するスタンプ作品を展示してみようと思った。
大人も子どももリラックスして「ゴロゴロ」を楽しんでもらえるようなスタンプ押し放題の展示をしました。

“Japanese people really work too much, don’t they?”
When a friend from overseas told me this, I thought it might be true.
It’s true that even when taking a break, Japanese people are so sensitive to the atmosphere that they might not be able to just “Spending time doing nothing” without worrying about what other people think.
So, for this exhibition, I decided to display stamp artworks to illustrate the Japanese expression “Goro goro”.
“Goro goro” has 2 meanings in Japanese. It’s about doing nothing but it also refers to the sound of rolling around.
This was an exhibition where you can stamp as much as you like, so that both adults and children can relax and enjoy “Goro goro”
