I created and produced the stamp illustrations for all 73 participating stores in the “Aim for 73 Stores! Used Book Day Stamp Rally,” organized by the Tokyo Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association in October 2017.

Becoming a large-scale event with 73 member bookstores participating, it generated significant buzz for allowing participants to experience the unique diversity of each shop, while also being known for its challenging completion difficulty.
The true highlights of the rally were the stamps themselves, each featuring a completely unique design tailored to each store. They consisted of playful illustrations that humorously parodied real book titles, such as Kani Kosen (parodied as “Crab Ray”) and Tsuki ni Hoeru (parodied as “Whale at the Moon”).

This exhibition brought together and showcased all 73 custom-made stamps in one place, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship behind the collection.
